The Link Hub E consists of four smart 1-wire master controlled via an Ethernet interface. It adapts the signals for each output to deal with long and difficult 1‑Wire networks that would defeat standard adapters.
The Ethernet interface accepts a socket connection and processes the iButtonLink ASCII command set to perform all possible 1‑Wire® operations along with an enhanced set of functions.
The four 1-Wire masters are each capable of controlling a large complex 1-wire network. The network controller makes the four networks appear as a single large network to the serial interface.
A fault on one network does not affect the operation of the other three.
Note: iButtonLink 1‑Wire® masters do not support overdrive communication speed.
