1‑Wire® Sensors

These temperature sensors and MultiSensors are designed to be quickly and easily assembled into a sensor network using standard Category 5 cable.

The network would comprise a LinkTH™ or Link45™ controlling a number of sensors distributed along a backbone up to 300 metres (1,000 feet) long with 50 or more sensors. Alternately, a Link Hub can control four backbones with a total of over 200 sensors.

T-Probe™ and T-Sense™

Low cost sensors with a temperature sensor range of -40 to +85°C
(-40 to +185°F).

T-Probe™

The T-Probe™ consists of an encapsulated 1‑Wire® temperature sensor(DS18B20) with 3 metres (10 feet) of high temperature cable terminated with an RJ45 connector. Custom cable lengths are available with quantity orders.

T-Sense™

The T-Sense is an encapsulated 1‑Wire® temperature sensor (DS18B20) with two RJ-45 sockets to allow easy assembly into a string of sensors using standard networking cables.

MultiSensors™

Each type of MultiSensor includes a temperature sensor plus one additional monitoring point or sensor. MultiSensors have two RJ45 connectors to allow easy connection using Category 5 network cable.

The temperature sensor range is
-40 to +85°C (-40 to +185°F).

Temperature and relative humidity.

MS-TC

Temperature and AC current, 0 to 20 Amps. The sensor clips on to one conductor of the cable to be measured. Disconnection of the cable is not required to install this sensor.

LinkTH™

The LinkTH™ is a smart 1‑Wire master that uses the same hardware platform as the Link45™. Its basic function is to scan the sensor network and report back the readings in plain ASCII text. No drivers or software conversion of the data is required. You can even use it manually with a standard terminal emulation program.

Any combination of MultiSensors, T-Sense,
T-Probe as well as the DS18x20 sensors from Dallas Semiconductor/Maxim may be used. There is no restriction on the number of sensors used. However, technical limitations limit the number to between 50 and 100 sensors.
