1‑Wire® adapters and iButton® receptors

These 1‑Wire® adapters and iButton® receptors are suitable for use with Thermodata software.

We also offer starter kits which include software, loggers and an adapter and receptor, all you need to get started with temperature monitoring.

1‑Wire® adapters

USB adapter DS9490R

This adapter works with Dallas Semiconductor/Maxim drivers for Windows and some open source software. The RJ-12 1‑Wire® bus connector makes 5 volts available to power sensors and other 1‑Wire® hardware.

Serial (DB9) adapter DS9097U-009

The serial adapter works Windows and open source operating systems and is powered from the serial port. The 1‑Wire® bus connector is an RJ-11 socket.

Parallel adapter DS1410D

Supplied with a matching Blue Dot receptor. Use this adapter for legacy systems or where USB or serial ports are not available.

iButton® receptors

Blue Dot receptor DS1402D-DR8

Plugs into the DS9490R or DS9097U adapters and provides a positive, durable connector for iButtons and ThermoLoggers. Connect buttons to either blue socket. An adhesive pad on the back allows the Blue Dot to be stuck to any smooth surface.

Touch and hold probe DS1402-RP3/RP8

With 900 mm (3') or 2,400 mm (8') curly cord and RJ-11 connector. Use for portable applications such as with Thermodata UMPC.
